I have to learn both the languages, as my parents speak telugu (our mother tongue) and english (it is the common language in Australia).
Here are few examples:
- When I want to open the door - we have to say "me tese the door". ("tese" is the telugu word)
- When i want to go on boat - we have to say "evening ekke the boat. Cocodile (crocodile) coming."("ekke" is the telugu word)
- when i had enough of food - saal saal saal (actualy telugu word is chaalu (enough))
- When i feel like i am missing my dad/ mom, i just quickly go and ask to them to give a hug and you what should we say is "Beng vachi" (Benga vachinda)
- When some thing is not opening up - No Yatle (No ravatledu(this is a telugu word))
- If it is very cold - sali (chali)
- If some thing is too hot to eat - ccccfuuu ccfuuu (uffu uffu (this we say to make food cold))
- India plane monday suuui going.
- Amma go water sunday.
- Week days - Monday, Toosday, fiday, sunday, Monday and Saturday :))
- A , B, C, D's are for Babies.
- My name - Suya (Surya , r silent :))
- Amma's name - Amma peyu saitu (Amma peru chaitu)
- Naana's name - Naana peyu kiyan (Naana peru Kiran)
- My grand mom's name (mom's mother) - Ammamma peyu Anuna (Ammamma peru Aruna)
- My grand father's name (mom's father) - Thatha peyu aabu thatha (Thatha peru aabu thatha (nickname for my grand father))
- My grand mom's name (dad's mother) - Nanamma peyu Veda (Nanamma peru Veda)
- My grand father's name (mom's father) - Thatha peyu pasad thathatha (Thatha peru prasad thatha)
- Icecream - Ikvis -
- Rice - aam
- Soar - abbu
- Aeroplane - Aloplane
- India - Inia
