My First Gundu(Shaved head)

Now i will tell you another story ,i.e. about my first gundu....

In India, mainly the telugu people have a tradition of making gundu in odd months before they turn 1. If they didnt do within 1 yr they have to wait till 3 years , that means in 2nd year they are not supposed to do gundu at all.

For my case, i am in Australia but you see my parents are from India so they still follow some traditions.
So, in 7th month my scalp was not so hard enough to do gundu, so in my 9th month when prasad thatha (dad's dad) was there and on one fine day in the month of june, they did gundu...

Here goes the procedure, first they trimmed my hair to maximum extent, then shaved it with dad's shaver.
You all know right i cant sit idle for soooooo much time, so i started crying.. then my mom feeded me the lunch, meanwhile dad and thatha finished my Gundu. Then for 1 or 1 1/2 months i was GUNDU BOY.

Now you should not call me GUNDU BOY, bcoz my hair is grown now.... no GUNDU anymore :)
